WEDZIE VENDOR REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS

1. Eligibility

To participate in the Referral Program, the referring vendor must:

• Have a Wedzie vendor account;
• Have an active paid Wedzie subscription at the time the referral reward becomes payable; and
• Be in good standing with Wedzie.

The referred vendor must be a new vendor who has not previously created a Wedzie vendor account.

2. How a Referral Qualifies

For a referral to qualify:

• The referred vendor must create a new Wedzie vendor account;
• Within 14 days of creating their account, the referred vendor must email referral@wedzie.ca and identify the one Wedzie vendor who referred them;
• Only one referring vendor may be identified for each referred vendor;
• The referred vendor must subsequently become a paid Wedzie subscriber; and
• The referring vendor must have an active paid Wedzie subscription and remain in good standing at the time the referral reward becomes payable.

Referrals reported more than 14 days after the referred vendor creates their account will not qualify for a referral reward.

Referral credit will not be applied retroactively if the referred vendor does not identify their referring vendor within the required 14-day period.

3. Referral Reward

The referring vendor will receive a $10 CAD referral reward for each successful referral.

A referral becomes eligible for payment once the referred vendor’s first paid Wedzie subscription payment has been successfully processed.

There is currently no limit on the number of eligible referral rewards a vendor may earn.

Only one referral reward may be earned for each referred vendor.

4. Payment of Referral Rewards

Referral rewards will be paid by e-transfer.

Wedzie will issue the $10 CAD referral reward within one month following the successful processing of the referred vendor’s first paid subscription payment, provided the referring vendor continues to meet the eligibility requirements of these Referral Terms.

The referring vendor is responsible for ensuring that Wedzie has the information necessary to issue the e-transfer.

If the referred vendor’s qualifying subscription payment is refunded, reversed, disputed, subject to a chargeback, or otherwise not successfully retained before the referral reward is issued, Wedzie may withhold or cancel the referral reward.

5. Referral Attribution

Referral credit is based solely on the referring vendor identified by the referred vendor directly to Wedzie at referral@wedzie.ca within 14 days of creating their account.

The referred vendor may identify only one referring vendor.

Once the referred vendor has identified their referring vendor to Wedzie, the referral attribution is final and cannot be transferred or reassigned to another vendor.

6. Self-Referrals and Related Businesses

Self-referrals are not eligible for referral rewards.

A vendor may not earn a referral reward for referring another business that is owned or controlled by the same person or substantially the same ownership group.

Wedzie may review and reject referrals involving duplicate accounts, common ownership, or other circumstances that reasonably indicate the referral is not a genuine referral of a separate vendor business.

7. Referral Program Restrictions

Vendors participating in the Referral Program must not:

• Create or use duplicate, false, or misleading accounts to obtain referral rewards;
• Provide false or misleading referral information;
• Misrepresent their relationship with Wedzie;
• Make false or misleading statements regarding Wedzie, its services, pricing, promotions, or Referral Program;
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity in connection with the Referral Program; or
• Use the Referral Program in a manner that violates applicable law or Wedzie’s other agreements, terms, or policies.

Wedzie may withhold, cancel, or refuse a referral reward where Wedzie reasonably determines that a referral is fraudulent, duplicated, ineligible, obtained through abuse of the Referral Program, or otherwise does not comply with these Referral Terms.

8. Taxes

Referral rewards may have tax consequences for the recipient.

Each vendor is responsible for determining and satisfying any tax reporting, collection, remittance, or payment obligations that may apply to referral rewards received through the Referral Program.

9. Changes to or Termination of the Referral Program

Wedzie may modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program or these Referral Terms at any time.

Any changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.

Referral rewards that have already been earned in accordance with these Referral Terms before the effective date of a change or termination will remain payable, provided all applicable eligibility and payment requirements have been satisfied.

The current version of these Referral Terms will be made available through the Wedzie platform.

10. Relationship to Other Wedzie Terms

Participation in the Referral Program is also subject to Wedzie’s applicable Terms & Conditions, vendor agreements, and policies.

If there is a conflict between these Referral Terms and another Wedzie agreement specifically concerning the Referral Program, these Referral Terms will govern with respect to the Referral Program.
